St. Louis at Seattle

The St. Louis Cardinals have been playing well below expectations to this point of the season. They have dropped 3 of their last 4, including game 1 of this series in Seattle. The once Hallmark pitching by the St. Louis Cardinals is at center stage. Their staff has allowed 34 total runs in their last 6 games or 5.8 runs per contest. The Mariners were swept at home by the Brewers in 3 straight games, but they quickly got back with a win in the series opener last night. The Mariners have played a tough schedule and this will be just their 6th game vs an opponent below the .500 mark in the first 5 they have been 4-1. I like Seattle in this one.
