St. Louis at San Diego

The San Diego Padres managed just two runs in their loss last night at home to the St. Louis Cardinals. That lack of production now ties the Padres triple A caliber offense with the Oakland A's, having scored 3 runs or less in a game for the 29th time on the season. While the pitching remains solid, the Padres offensive woes have prevented them from winning games as they did a year ago, when they were the surprise of baseball.The Cards managed just 3 runs last night and their good pitching and a slumping offense has led them down a road paved with unders, currently 8-1 to the UNDER in their last nine games. These clubs have now produced five UNDERs in their last six meetings in San Diego. I am with UNDER in this one.
