St. Louis at San Diego

The San Diego Padres aren't having the success this season that surprised all of baseball last year. The pitching is holding its end of the bargain, but the Padres’ attack has resembled a AAA team on the major league level. The Padres have the dubious distinction of scoring 3 runs or less in a game more frequently than any of the other 15 teams at 28 and counting. They have struggled further at home vs. a road team with a winning record, resulting in six straight UNDERs. The Cardinals have been over-happy of late with seven of their last eight failing to reach the total, and with four out of the last five in this series played here failing to reach the total, the UNDER gets this call.
