The Pittsburgh Pirates are on top in the NL Central for the first time since 1992 at the end of July. They have swept the Cardinals in three straight as we head to Game 4 in a rare five-game series. For the first time this season, the Cardinals are facing an elongated losing streak, having dropped their last six. They have scored a grand total of just 7 runs in the six losses. They certainly have a losing streak buster on the mound for this one in Adam Wainwright. The Cards are 56-27 when he gets the ball after a loss in their previous game, and 25-12 if they lost each of their last two, and they are also 6-2 in his last eight starts in Pittsburgh. The Pirates are just 1-7 behind Locke after allowing 2 runs or fewer in their previous game. Take St. Louis.
