St. Louis at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh has won seven of eight and has Paul Skenes starting tonight. The rookie phenom is 6-0 with a 1.90 ERA and a 0.92 WHIP, and Skenes has allowed only 14 runs in 66 1/3 innings pitched. Five of his past six starts have gone UNDER. The Pirates beat St. Louis 2-1 on Monday when Nick Gonzales hit a go-ahead RBI single in the eighth and the Cardinals dropped to .500 on the road. St. Louis has lost six of Lance Lynn's past seven road starts and the Cardinals have lost four of five versus a starter with a 1.15 or less WHIP. The UNDER is 6-1-1 in the Cardinals' past eight road games against teams with winning records and they have stayed UNDER four straight as underdogs. Lynn is 1-4 with a .297 opponent batting averge on the road this season. Five of the past seven meetings have stayed UNDER and Pittsburgh has gone UNDER its past three games overall.
