St. Louis at Pittsburgh

After losing Game 1 of this series to Pittsburgh, the St. Louis Cardinals continue to struggle as they enter this game with a 43-46 mark. The Cardinals are in danger of their first losing season since 2007. This is obviously not the type of Cardinals team we have seen over the past decade. Pittsburgh is playing much better, and with a win tonight can pass St. Louis in the standings. The Pirates have won six of their last seven and have gotten excellent work from their starters and pen, as they have allowed a total of 18 runs in the seven games, or just 2.7 per contest. This is a tough spot at a tough time for the fading Cardinals, so look for the Pirates to continue their hot hand. Play on Pittsburgh.
