St. Louis at Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Pirates opened the season in surprising fashion at 20-9. That didn't; last long as they have more resembled the team most thought they were since. The St. Louis Cardinals have been disappointed from the start until the present, as they are 55-71 and will not be a playoff team. The Pirates opened the series at home last night with a blowout 11-1 win, and it may offer some incite as to the mindset of the Cardinals. I think a team that thought they were going to contend and gets to a point in the season where they are out of the playoff race it is difficult, especially on the road vs another bad team. The St. Louis pitching has allowed 10+ runs in three of their last 10 games, and seven runs per game over their last 10. Make the play on Pittsburgh.
