St. Louis won its third in four games, one-hitting the Pirates Tuesday night with Tommy Edman and Paul DeJong each belting a home run. Pittsburgh has lost six in a row while scoring only 12 runs in that span, and it'll face Adam Wainwright, who is approaching his 40th birthday but still pitching well for the Cardinals. The right-hander is 10-9 with a 3.48 ERA and St. Louis has won his past four starts, and nine of 11. Wainwright allowed two runs on seven hits in seven innings in a 4-2 victory over Kansas City on Friday. Wil Crowe got destroyed against Cincinnati his last outing giving up seven runs on eight hits in four innings. St. Louis has won seven of the last 10 meetings and 10 of 14 overall as road favorites.
