Miles Mikolas is on the mound for the Cards tonight, and he had a rough start against Milwaukee, but he comes off an 18-4 season with a 2.83 ERA and he pitched well against the Pirates in 2018. Mikolas had five appearances versus Pittsburgh and gave up 10 earned runs in 31 innings for a 2.90 ERA. Jameson Taillon got roughed up on Thursday when he lost 5-3 to Cincinnati, and he gave up four runs on six hits in six innings.
