St. Louis at Philadelphia

A squirrel may have saved the day for the Cardinals, as they have evened the series with the Phillies at two games apiece. They now have the unenviable task of facing Roy Hallady in the series final and decisive game. Halladay was touched-up for 3 runs in the first inning in Game 1, but shutout the Cards in the next seven, as the Phillies hung up an 11-spot. Chris Carpenter gets the ball for St. Louis and he didn't make it out of the fourth inning his last time out in this series. Carpenter has slipped some this season, and even during his prime years, has been just a 1-4 playoffs pitcher on the road. Halladay is good on regular rest, but when he gets five days he has been virtually unbeatable, leading his teams to an 18-3 record. The Phils are now 40-11 in his last 51 starts, making the runline looking quite the valuable. Philadelphia moves on, so take them on the runline.

3 units on Philadelphia -1.5 runs +130 (runline) (risk 3 to return 3)
