The St. Louis Cardinals had a rare explosion on offense in yesterday's 10-2 route of the New York Mets. It was their first game in a week scoring more than four runs, as they averaged just two runs per game in their six prior to last night. The Mets have not sustained much offense either, and their two runs last night has left them scoring four or fewer runs in 17 of their last 22 games. Prior to last night's dismal effort, the Mets pitching held three straight opponents to a single run. St. Louis' pitching has held 21 teams to two or fewer runs already this season, and are now 34-14-5 to the UNDER in their last 53 vs. the NL East. The Mets have been the biggest contributor to that mark as the UNDER is 9-1-1 in the last 11 in this series. Take the UNDER in this one.
