The St. Louis Cardinals have the luxury of wheeling out a competent starting pitcher on a nightly basis. They got off to a slow start, but the pitching has settled in, and have begun to dominate opponents. The last eight games have seen the Cards allow 3 runs or fewer in seven of them, and overall just 17 total runs in the eight games at just a tick over 2 per. The problem is that the lineup is delivering less than 2 runs per game over their last four. The Mets managed just 2 runs in the opener, but are a surprising 10-9, and the Mets' staff has recorded three shutouts in their last 13 games. The Cardinals are 15-4-2 to the UNDER in their last 21 vs. the NL East, and the Mets have been a big part of that as the last six meetings have seen five play UNDER the total. Go with the UNDER in this one.
