St. Louis at Minnesota

This is somewhat of a signifiant matchup with the winner coming out of the gate at 3-1. The Cards did not swing the bats well a year ago finishing 24th with a team average of just .245. Pitching carried the team, and Carlos Martinez has battled arm issues that kept him in the bullpen all of last year, but he will join the rotation this year. The Twins slugged 307 HRs a year ago and can really swing the bats, while the pitching was ninth best in the Majors. St. Louis has a pedigree, and the Twins do not, but right now, the Twins are the better team overall. Make the play on Minnesota.
