The Milwaukee Brewers have a similar dilemma as the Yankees did with Chien Ming Wang. It is about Manny Parra who is in a fog right now. He began the season poorly, went through three starts where he seemed to have things figured out, but then lapsed back to even worse than before and his ERA over his last three is a not so pretty double-digits. Parra had a three-game stretch where the Brewers won all three, but the before and after shows the Brewers at 0-10. That is bad enough, but when the bullpen comes to the rescue and allows 2.5 more runs per game, then there are serious problems. It will get even tougher as the Cards send Joel Pineiro to the mound who is pitching his best baseball in a longtime. Pineiro has been as sharp as a razor as he has walked just five batters in his last 86 innings, and over his last four starts, he is pitching to a 1.82 ERA. The Brewers are just 6-20 in Parra's last 26 starts and 2-12 as a dog. St. Louis gets this one.
