St. Louis is 25-14 OVER this season. The Cards are belting in 6.6 runs per game on the road this season while the Reds are getting 5.8 per game at home. If those averages held up here, we'd be looking at over 12 runs. Obviously we can't expect that, but I do expect 9+ to be scored. Chris Carpenter has been average at best this year. He's 1-2 with a 5.40 road ERA. Travis Wood owned a 5.28 ERA and over his last three starts that has ballooned to 7.32, allowing 16 earned runs in just 19.7 innings pitched. The Cardinals are 8-1 OVER this season when they are a small favorite (-100 to -150). Take the OVER here.
