St. Louis at Cincinnati

St. Louis has lost six of Jaime Garcia's last nine starts although he did recover from a horrible outing on May 22 when he was pummeled for five runs and 10 hits in 2 1/3 innings against Arizona. Garcia managed to get through five innings in a 3-1 loss at Milwaukee last Wednesday. The left-hander has a 7.20 ERA at Great American Ball Park the last three years allowing eight runs and 12 hits in 10 innings. Alfredo Simon pitched well enough on Thursday to get his first win since May 5. Simon gave up four runs in seven innings in an 11-4 win at Colorado. St. Louis has lost four of its last five games in Cincinnati. Play the home underdog Reds.
