St. Louis at Cincinnati

St. Louis has won four of its last five games following Wednesday's 6-5 victory over the Pirates as Paul Goldschmidt hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in the seventh inning to rally the Cardinals. Meanwhile, Cincinnati lost its sixth in the last eight games with a 4-3 defeat at the Cubs. The Cardinals are 9-1 in Dakota Hudson's last 10 starts and 23-11 in the 34 meetings overall with the Reds, who have lost four of Tanner Roark's last five home starts. Also, Roark was clobbered on Saturday when he gave up seven runs on 13 hits in 4 2/3 innings at Colorado and that followed a start when he allowed four runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings versus Milwaukee. There is good value in the road underdog, so play the Cardinals.
