St. Louis at Cincinnati

The St. Louis Cardinals started the season slowly but had a strong stretch that made them appear in the wild card hunt. That has changed as this team has lost their edge and has suffered through a19 game stretch where they are 7-12, and have lost three straight games to slip to .500. The Reds have kept the Cardinals offense at bay, allowing just two total runs in the first two games, as they look for the sweep tonight. The Red's pitching has caught fire, as the staff has allowed a total of six runs in the last six games. The Reds pitching has dominated the Cardinals bats all season, as they have allowed fewer than three runs a game in the nine played so far in the season. I like Cincinnati in this one.
