St. Louis at Cincinnati

Cincinnati has an opportunity to snap a losing streak against the Cardinals. St. Louis has lost four of their last six games, including Wednesday's 3-2 defeat versus Milwaukee when the Cardinals stranded two runners in the ninth inning. The Reds come off a tough, 14-inning loss at Philadelphia and face Michael Wacha tonight and he has allowed six runs on nine hits in 9 2/3 innings. Wacha walked five batters in five innings his last start against Arizona.  Cincy is 4-1 in Sal Romano's last five starts against teams with losing records and St. Louis will be facing him for the first time. The Cardinals are 4-10 their last 14 versus right-handed starters dating to last season and 3-7 their last 10 after scoring two or fewer runs their previous game. The value lies with the home underdog, so play the Reds.
