The pressure is on St. Louis to win if they want to to hold onto the Wild Card. However, they have split two games here in Chicago, losing the opener as a -180 favorite and barely holding on yesterday in a 5-4 win. St. Louis is just 10-10 in September. St. Louis lost in dramatic fashion on Friday as Fernando Salas gave up a two-out, two-strike, two-run homer to Darwin Barney of the Cubs in the ninth to send the game to extra innings, and the Cubs won 5-4 in 11 innings. St. Louis has a losing road record and goes with soft throwing Kyle Lohse, who is 3-4 with a 5.22 ERA in his career against the Cubbies -- and Wrigley is no easy park to pitch in. The Cardinals are 4-11 in their last 15 road games and 2-6 in their last eight games as a road favorite. Chicago is terrible on the road but close to a .500 team in Wrigley Field in 2012 making the big home dog the play. Play the Cubs.
