The Red Sox World Series express continued last night. Boston took game one easily, moving them to 9-0 in their last nine World Series games. That increased the number of consecutive innings they have held the lead against St. Louis to 45 out of 45! Boston just has that look of a team of destiny, and they're playing with confidence. They have also been lights-out in interleague play vs. right-handed pitching where they are now 51-15 in their last 66. I know a lot of these players were not part of that, but this year they are 6-1 in this same spot, so it has continued. The Cardinals have been downright ugly in this role as they are 2-12 in their last 14 as a road dog from +110 to +150. World Series game one winners at home, playing game two at home are 37-25 or 60% winners, showing line value here as well on the Sox. Boston goes up 2-0 tonight.
