St. Louis at Baltimore

The St. Louis Cardinals are just one game off the pace set by the Milwaukee Brewers in the competitive NL Central. They have received excellent starting pitching as they have allowed exactly 2 runs in each of their last four games. Justin Masterson has had knee issues this season that have held him back, and he is a much better starter than we have seen thus far this season. As he gets healthy, he should be much better going forward, so I think some value lies here on the Cardinals. Chris Tillman is 8-5 on the season and owns a rather pedestrian 3.78 ERA, and he has posted a win in just one of his last seven starts. The Cards have been saving their best for winning teams, where they have notched 11 wins in their last 15 games against one. The Orioles have not fared well recently as a home chalk behind Tillman where they are 1-4 in their last five. St. Louis has had the upper hand in this series as well with four straight in the win column. Go with St. Louis.
