St. Louis at Atlanta

The St. Louis Cardinals won 100 games last year, but this is 2016 and the team is winless while riding an eight-game skid on the road. Even last year the offense was not outstanding and that's been a major problem, scoring just six runs in the first three games. St. Louis struck out 37 times in three games while the starting rotation surrendered 23 hits in 14 2/3 innings and posted a 6.75 ERA. Cardinals' starter Jaime Garcia goes here, but struggled in spring training, allowing nine earned runs in 14+ innings. While it is the fourth straight road game for St. Louis, it is the third straight home game for Atlanta. The Braves go with talented young Matt Wisler, who went 2-0 with a 1.15 ERA in two starts against the Cardinals in 2015. The Braves are also 8-3 in their last 11 home games. Play Atlanta.
