St. Louis at Arizona

St. Louis won 9-6 on Friday and then dropped a 4-2 decision last night when Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the sixth for the Diamondbacks. Miles Mikolas starts today for the Cardinals and he has put together two good outings allowing four runs in 12 2/3 innings while walking only three batters. Mikolas is 2-1 in three career starts with a 2.11 ERA and 0.84 WHIP against Arizona. The St. Louis bullpen is tied for third in the majors with six saves. Zac Gallen gave up three runs on eight hits in five innings as the Diamondbacks lost 7-5 to Colorado on Monday. Gallen has started twice against St. Louis and has a 4.77 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in those games. Arizona has lost six of nine. Take the Cardinals.
