Seattle got an early lead and coasted to a 4-0 win over the Blue Jays on Friday as Eugenio Suarez had two hits and two RBIs, and rookie Julio Rodriguez reached base three times and scored twice for the Mariners, who got a combined shutout from Luis Castillo and Andres Munoz. Today it's Robbie Ray on the mound for the Mariners and he has been somewhat inconsistent this season, but he had a decent September with a 3.58 ERA allowing 11 runs in 27 2/3 innings. Ray faced Toronto once this season and gave up one run on three hits in six innings. Kevin Gausman pitched better on the road this year than he did at home where he was 4-7 with a 4.57 ERA and .305 opponent batting average.
