Gilbert faced Texas once this season and gave up two runs on three hits in 6 2/3 innings. Seattle has the better bullpen with 43 saves compared to only 28 for the Rangers, whose relievers are sixth-worst in the majors with a 4.88 ERA. Jordan Montgomery has allowed 12 runs on 24 hits in 23 1/3 innings for a 4.63 ERA this September. Seattle is 41-33 on the road as it battles for either a division title or a wild-card berth.
