The Texas Rangers are on an offensive tear that has helped them go 8-2 over their last ten. Seattle opened the season surprising everyone, but have dropped back to reality with a 2-8 mark in their last ten. The Rangers bats have produced 6.8 runs a game at home, and when you consider the Mariners have reached seven runs all season just seven times, hard to see them coming away with a win here, especially when they have scored two runs or less in five of their last seven games. The Mariners are an imperfect 0-9 in Washburn's last nine starts vs an opponent that allowed two runs or less in their previous game, and overall the M's are 1-8 in their last nine games vs an opponent that scored five or more in their last game. Big mismatch here, and I'll back the Rangers.
