Texas comes off an impressive 5-1 road trip at Washington and Houston, and the Rangers have won 11 of their last 14 against teams with losing records, including nine of 10 at home. Seattle has lost eight of its last 11 road games versus right-handed starters and Tyson Ross will make his Texas debut since coming over from San Diego. James Paxton was roughed up his last outing at home against Toronto when he allowed four runs on eight hits in four innings in a 4-0 Seattle loss. This followed a start against Minnesota when he gave up three runs on five hits in five innings. Paxton has walked six batters his last nine innings.
