Seattle at Texas

The Texas Rangers were stung by Seattle last night in extra frames, but this is a team that has no peers when following a loss. The Rangers have been in charge after a setback where they are an impressive 81-38 in their last 119. Hisashi Iwmkuma has been an impressive 7-3 for the Mariners backed by a strong 2.42 ERA, but over his last three starts he has allowed 4 runs in each of them. Martin Perez has been added to the rotation and has pitched superbly at 2-1 with a 2.37 ERA, and has been better with each start. Seattle is a painful 45-95 in their last 140 games on the road vs. a winning team. Seattle is certainly lacking the pedigree to steal another one here, as they are 30-67 in their last 97 played in Texas. Go with Texas in this one.
