Seattle at Texas

The light hitting Mariners lineup is finding some life as we head down to the home stretch in the MLB season. The Mariners scored all of 90 runs in their 36 games from June 6th through July 17th, but have since produced 83 in their last 20 games, almost matching their 36 game total in half the games. They hung a six spot on the Rangers last night and will likely get some good pitches to hit tonight vs. Derek Holland and his 4.35 ERA. The M's revitalized offense has answered the bell four straight times vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of greater than 1.30 and have also eclipsed the total in seven of their last eight vs. a pitcher with a WHIP greater than 1.30 as well. The Rangers and Holland are having problems with hot bats as they are 2-5 in their last seven vs. a team off five runs or more in their previous game and overall are just 5-11 in their last 16 in a series game three situation. The total is getting taken for the OVER in five of the last six between these clubs in Texas. The call goes to Seattle and the OVER.
