Seattle at Texas

The Mariners are a big favorite with ace Felix Hernandez, but Texas is a small, homerun-happy park. Starters can often leave early in this park, where it's easy to hit doubles and home runs. Hernandez has also struggled ont he road this year with a 5.40 ERA and let's not forget Seattle is a losing team that can't score. They have especially struggled vs. LHP like Wandy Rodriguez, averaging just 3.3 runs per game vs. southpaws. Seattle's offense is ranked #24 in runs scored and #27 in on-base percentage. The Mariners are 2-6 on the road against left-handed starters and Rodriguez has started off well this season allowing just 1 run in his appearance vs. the Angels. The Rangers are 9-4 after scoring 2 or fewer runs in their previous game. And the Mariners are 1-5 when Hernandez faces the Rangers, including 1-4 here in Texas.
