The Mariners continue to struggle, and those struggles have been magnified on the road where they now sit at 9-24 on the season and just 3-13 in their last 16. Tonight the task gets more difficult taking on Jaime Garcia of the Cards. Garcia has been the second best pitcher in baseball through the first 60+ games and enters here with a stellar 1.49 ERA. Garcia has been impressively consistent and has not allowed more than two runs in any start this season. The Mariners futility is shinning brightly as a dog from +151 to +200 as they are just a woeful 13-44 in their last 57 and stand at 0-5 behind Vargas as a road dog. To compound the problem the M's have dropped five straight in St. Louis. I'll ride the hot hand and back St. Louis here.
