The Pittsburgh Pirates franchise has turned the corner. Over the last two decades, this team is hard to disassociate from losing, so their lines are usually showing some value, and I believe we get it here. Seattle will go with Aaron Harang tonight, but since he won 16 games in consecutive seasons, Harang has fallen off sharply, and has been just 43-58. This season the fall seems to be on the increase as he enters with an 8.68 ERA. The Mariners' road woes include a 38-88 mark when they face a team with a winning record in their last 126, and have struggled against righthanders at just 2-8 in their last 10 overall. The Pirates are striking hot with opportunity, as they are 25-12 in their last 37 at home vs. a losing team. Play on Pittsburgh.
