Seattle at Oakland

The Seattle Mariners have been overtaken by the Houston Astros in the AL West. The hidden part of how far the Mariners have cratered is in the fact that this team is 25-39 over their last 64 games. This would indicate that the Mariners since June 19 have been the worst team in MLB outside of the White Sox, and we all know that story. Oakland lost 112 games last year, but this team has really started to play good baseball. The A's are 13-9 in their last 22 games. Things have not looked any different in the first two games of this series as Oakland has taken the first two. It's more like the Mariner's have become the A's while the A's just continue to win.
