Seattle at Oakland

The weakest link in the Mariners’ rotation this season has been Chris Jakubauskas. He pitched well early in relief, but since being placed in the rotation his ERA has been well over six runs per game, with the Mariners getting doubled up on the scoreboard in his starts 38-19. Another concern is the Mariners’ bullpen, which no longer has JJ Putz, has blown more saves than any American League team this season, other than the Indians. The Mariners have blown eight already, while Oakland stands in second behind the Red Sox in the AL for fewest blown. Brett Anderson hasn't pitched well for Oakland, but with the pen likely to get a lot of work from both sides in this one, the faith has to be with the A's as the Mariners’ pen has coughed-up many leads already this season. The Mariners are also just 2-12 in their last 14 after a win and 0-7 as a road dog of +110 to +150 in their last seven. The A's have produced at home against right-hand pitching, having gone 15-6 in their last 21. I'll go with the A's here.
