The Oakland A's really have a weak lineup, and depend on good starts to keep them in games. Brett Anderson may one day be that guy and he has good stuff, but still has a lot to learn. The A's finished last season with a losing record in his 13 home starts. The A's got a look at Doug Fister a year ago, managing just a single run off him in seven innings of work. The A's struggled to win in the division last year and closed at just 2-8 in their last 10 vs. division teams. The Mariners have long dominated the A's and have now gone 18-7 in their last 25 meetings. I like Seattle here on the runline.
