Seattle at Minnesota

The Minnesota Twins went from losing 103 games in 2016 to making the playoffs last season. The Twins got a great second half out of Kyle Gibson, as well as a very well-pitched game in their opener this season. The problem is that the game was not against Seattle, who has a history of hitting him hard, as the M's slugged 17 hits in 12 innings last season vs. Gibson, and his ERA was 5.25 in the pair of starts. The Mariners have had some shaky pitching early, allowing 10 runs to San Francisco in their last game. Tonight's starter, James Paxson, is 0-1 with a double-digit ERA to start the season. Look for this one to play OVER the total.
