Seattle at Milwaukee

Logan Gilbert pitched well in his first start of the season on Saturday as he allowed only one run on four hits in seven innings against Boston. Gilbert was 13-7 with a 3.73 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 2023 with 189 strikeouts in 190.2 innings pitched. Milwaukee won its first four games of the season before losing 7-3 to Minnesota on Wednesday. Three of the wins came against the moribund New York Mets. The bullpen gave up all seven runs after Joe Ross was relieved in the fourth inning against the Twins. The Mariners are 24-12 in Gilbert's road games the past two seasons and 17-7 when he starts on the road following a loss. Also, Seattle is 15-5 in road contests when Gilbert starts against teams with winning records. Back the Mariners as a Max Play.
