Seattle at Kansas City

Seattle got a much-needed win on Saturday, 6-5 over the Royals as Cal Raleigh had a tying two-run homer and a go-ahead RBI double in the ninth for the Mariners, who improved to 44-36 on the road. Kansas City had its four game win streak snapped and Max Castillo will start his fifth game of the season and first since Sept. 4 when he allowed two runs on five hits in 4 2/3 innings against Detroit. Luis Castillo goes for Seattle and he has a sparkling 2.85 ERA and 1.08 WHIP on the season and this will be his first appearance against the Royals in 2022. The Mariners have won 36 of their past 53 road games and 34 of 50 overall versus teams with losing records. Kansas City is just 2 1/2 games from the cellar in the AL Central and 9-21 their past 30 games against right-handed staters. Take the Mariners.
