Seattle at Kansas City

The MLB season is a marathon filled with highs and lows, and the Kansas City Royals experienced one of the ultimate highs in reeling off 10 straight wins. What goes up, must come down, especially with a young and fragile team. The Royals have followed the big streak with two straight losses. The pitching matchup here looks like a wash, but the Mariners have been strong on the road, and have really been stepping up against a winning team where they own a 10-1 record in their last 11 against one. The Royals have not fared well vs. the AL West where they have dropped five straight, including the series opener last night. By contrast, the M's own five wins in the last seven meetings.
