Seattle at Kansas City

The Kansas City Royals may have arrived a year earlier than expected, as many felt this team could start coming of age next year. But the Royals are out of the gate fast at 9-4 to start the season. The Mariners have not come close to showing signs of turning the corner at 4-10 and appear to be heading for another disastrous campaign. Felix Hernandez is certainly a top-of-the-rotation pitcher, but pitching with the support of a punch less lineup, especially on the road, has made it frustrating for the right hander. The Mariners are just 6-12 on the road in Hernandez' last 18 road starts, and Kansas City has become a solid team especially at home. Play on the Royals to take this one.
