The Seattle Mariners finally got something going as they swept the Yankees in two straight in the Bronx, moving their winning streak to three games, taking five of their last six overall. Tonight they are in a very favorable spot against the lowly Astros with top pitcher Felix Hernandez on the hill. Hernandez is 3-1 with a 2.40 ERA on the season, and owns a career 2.16 ERA vs. Houston. Brad Peacock will oppose him for the Stros and they have yet to win any of his three starts, as he is 0-2 with a 5.95 ERA. Peacock's numbers are bad, but are even worse vs. the Mariners where he owns a woeful 7.20 ERA against them in four career starts. Houston is also just 1-11 in his last 12 starts off a loss. Houston is also a paltry 12-44 as a dog in their last 56 to a line of +151 to +200. Take Seattle.
