Seattle at Houston

There isn't much left in this season for these teams, except to evaluate prospects for next season. Seattle will do just that as they send highly-regarded prospect Taijuan Walker to the mound for the first time, and he could be a bit jittery, especially with his debut coming on the road. Brad Peacock was awful early in the season, but has really come on, and been impressive since the All-Star break. Peacock has made four starts since then, limiting opposing hitters to a .187 batting average in his four starts. He has also notched wins in his last two starts. The bats, however, are supposed to be kings here, and when the Mariners play to a high total from 9 to 10.5 they are a woeful 51-105 in their last 156. Play this one on Houston.
