The Detroit Tigers have had an awful season, one in which so much was expected. Detroit has leaked out that they will be a seller coming up to the trade deadline on August 1. They have already expressed interest in moving Cespedes and Price. That didn't slow them down last night, as they rode the red-hot bat of Ian Kinsler to a 5-4 win over the Mariners in the series opener. Kinsler swatted a pair of HRs, which proved to be decisive in the 5-4 win. Kinsler is hitting .392 since July 2, with 11 RBI. Seattle will go with the up and down Taijuan Walker, and his last start vs. Detroit was not very pretty as he served up 5 HRs. The Tigers, despite the trade rumors, are 11-5 in their last 16, and own an 11-3 mark in their last 14 vs. a right hander. Make the play on Detroit.
