Seattle at Detroit

Detroit has won two in a row while scoring a total of 18 runs after snapping a four-game skid. Now the Tigers return home where they swept a four-game series from Seattle the last time the Mariners were in town in 2016. Feliz Hernandez is coming off a shaky outing against Miami when he allowed 12 hits and four runs in 6 1/3 innings although the Mariners pulled out a 10-5 win. Seattle has lost both of King Felix's road starts this season, including against the Angels when he gave up 10 hits in six innings. Seattle is #25 in the major leagues with a .624 OPS on the road and the Mariners are just 2-9 away from home. Detroit is 5-2 at home and Jordan Zimmermann will be facing the Mariners for the first time since coming over to the American League.
