The Colorado Rockies have pretty much cashed in their chips for this season. The Rockies are 16 games below .500, and sadly they have not been much better at home with a lineup tailored for their unique home park at just 24-28 at home on the season. Pitching has always been the problem, and they are prematurely launching the big league career of Jon Gray after just 276 innings in the minors. The Mariners are riding the hot bat of Nelson Cruz, who homered for the fourth straight game, extending his hitting streak to 14 games, where he owns nine HRs. Gray was just 6-6 with a 4.33 ERA in AAA, and starting at Coors is no easy task for even a seasoned pitcher. Seattle has taken their last four as a road favorite, while the Rockies have sputtered to a 9-44 mark as an interleague dog in their last 53. As an interleague home dog over the last five years, the Rockies have allowed a ridiculous 6.9 runs per game, and that has led to the OVER producing 75% winners. Seattle is now 8-2-1 to the OVER when following a win in their last 11, with Colorado at 8-1-1 to the OVER after a loss. Play Seattle and the OVER.
