Everytime the Seattle Mariners run Felix Hernandez out to the mound, they expect to win, or at the very least be in a close game. He will hopefully get a lot of support from the red-hot Nelson Cruz, who has homered in three straight games, extended his hitting streak to 13 games, and homering eight times during the stretch. Eddie Butler has struggled for Colorado and enters with a 3-7 record and 4.82 ERA. Overall he has allowed opposing hitters to hit .314 against him, and his WHIP stands at 1.78. He has allowed just about six runs per nine innings at home, so the pitching mismatch is considerable in this one as he takes on a future Hall of Famer in Hernandez. The M's are 8-2 behind Hernandez as a chalk from -151 to -200 in his last 10, and the Rockies are a woeful 39-89 in their lsst 128 games vs. a starter with a WHIP of less than 1.15. Make the play on Seattle.
