Seattle at Cleveland

Seattle has lost two straight series and have lost six of their last nine games. But, tonight they put Carlos Silva ont he mound. He's 3-0 with a 2.83 ERA. He's coming off an injury but we are going to assume he's fine if they are giving him the nod. It was simply tightness in his right thigh and he's had nearly a week off. Silva hasn't lost a decision since 2007, having won five straight. Fausto Carmona has been quite good as well but he's been getting a bit worse. Despite an overall 2.89 ERA, his ERA in his last three starts is 4.80. The Marniers are 29-14 the past two seasons vs. teams batting .255 or worse. Cleveland doesn't have the pitching or offensive advantage to justify this very high line. As such we see value on the dog.
