Seattle at Chicago

The Seattle Mariners have graduated from MLB 101 as in 101 losses a year ago. They have answered that poor season with quality pitching and are more than holding their own in the AL West. The head of the class on the mound is Felix Hernandez who has pitched the M's to three straight wins when taking the ball. Not only have the M's have become a cash cow when facing a right-hand pitcher at 20-7 in their last 27. Chicago has not gotten it done vs. quality pitching and is 4-9 in their last 13 vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of 1.15 or less. Hernandez is 4-1 vs. the White Sox pitching for a poor team that is improved now. I’ll play Seattle in this one.
