Seattle at Chicago

Chicago will look to Mike Clevinger as the White Sox attempt to bounce back from Monday's blowout loss and he has been their best pitcher lately as he has a 3.26 ERA and 1.25 WHIP for the season and they have won five of his past eight starts. Clevinger pitched seven scoreless innings on three hits against the Cubs his last appearance on Aug. 16 although it ended in a 4-3 loss and he has allowed only eight runs in 36 innings at home this year. Bryan Woo is scheduled to return from the injury list and Seattle has lost four of his past five starts. The UNDER is 5-2-1 the past eight meetings and as often happens a team that scored double digits its previous game cools off considerably the next game as the opposing pitchers make adjustments.
